Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pasta:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:

    • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add the white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce by half.
    • Stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine:

    • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, along with the cooked linguini. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  5. Serve:

    • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
