Ingredients:
- 1 lb of shrimps, cleaned and deveined
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Begin by preparing all of your ingredients. Clean and devein your shrimp, slice your bell pepper and onion, and mince your garlic. Put aside.
- Next, in a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté it until it becomes aromatic, approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion to the pan and cook until it becomes translucent.
- Now, add the bell pepper and shrimp to the pan. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, which should take about 3-5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture into the pan, stirring well to ensure all the ingredients are covered. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
