Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of shrimps, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing all of your ingredients. Clean and devein your shrimp, slice your bell pepper and onion, and mince your garlic. Put aside.
  2. Next, in a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and sauté it until it becomes aromatic, approximately 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced onion to the pan and cook until it becomes translucent.
  5. Now, add the bell pepper and shrimp to the pan. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, which should take about 3-5 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
  7. Pour the soy sauce mixture into the pan, stirring well to ensure all the ingredients are covered. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  8. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy.
